Israel Ninsaw Gbati is the CEO and co-founder of BiostealthAI and an entrepreneur with a successful track record of generating revenue in his business ventures. He is an award winning inventor and has also been recognized for his exceptional academic achievements during his university years.
In 2017, he was awarded the Invention of the Year Award at the British Invention Show for his outstanding invention. He has also been recognized for his excellent academics, receiving several prizes and scholarships, including a full tuition scholarship to pursue his Master's degree in Global Innovation Design at Imperial College London and the Royal College of Arts.
He has published papers on objective drug-induced endoscopy data capture and analysis systems, as well as drug induced sedation endoscopy surgical decision-making processes. Israel has been granted a patent on cardiovascular health monitoring with Biostealth Ltd, and has a pending patent on a vehicle component, which he invented in collaboration with Volkswagen AG.

He is proficient in a variety of technical areas, including Photoplethysmography (PPG) systems design, Arm processor firmware development and medical deep learning.

Georgios Papanikolaou is the COO and co-founder of BiostealthAI and a respiratory health advocate, reaching and engaging hundreds of chronic respiratory disease sufferers through the COPD Management UK online platform. He is responsible for curating information and providing resources and support to those living with COPD and other respiratory illnesses. He also volunteers as a walking companion at his local Walking for Health groups aimed for people with breathing difficulties.
Georgios holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Analog and Digital IC Design from Imperial College London with First Class Honors, as well as a diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. For his MSc thesis project he developed a wearable cuff for continuous monitoring of edema, to detect signs of deterioration in individuals with chronic heart failure or respiratory disease.

Desmond Boakye Tanoh, MD is a resident physician in internal medicine and serves as the Clinical Research Advisor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Young therapeutics. He is the lead cardiology team member in research specialized in cardiovascular pharmacology – Myocardial ischemic – reperfusion I/R injury and an Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates ECFMG certified in the USA.
He has received several academic honors and awards, including the Dean’s Honorary Award for Excellence, Best Physiology Student, Excellence in Internal Medicine Olympiad, David Miller - DO ‘60 Memorial Research Day Masters in Biomedical Science Award, and the Excellence in Cardiovascular Research Award. He has also obtained certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) and has board eligibility for ACLS, BLS, and CITI Training.

Dr. Boakye Tanoh has published several research papers and presented at scientific conferences, including the 3rd Global Virtual Conference on Cardiology, American Physiological Society, and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. His research publications have appeared in journals such as the FASEB journal and Cardio Forum. He is fluent in Ga, Akan, Russian and English.
Oliver Tsiakaka, Ph.D is a postdoctoral researcher in Electrical Engineering with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Sorbonne Université in Paris, France. He has worked in the Biomedical Microsystems Lab at Université Laval in Québec, Canada, and is affiliated with the CERVO Brain Research Centre. His research interests are in developing microsystems for medical applications, particularly in the areas of neurophysiological processes, light matter interactions, microelectronics, and heterogeneous systems.
He has extensive knowledge in optoelectronic systems and a demonstrated history of using the light for life science spectroscopy applications, including intraoperative optical monitoring of spinal cord hemodynamics using multi-wavelength imaging systems, spinal cord monitoring by NIRS in reflection and transmission modes, and source-detector spectral pairing-related inaccuracies in pulse oximetry. He has a Master’s degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Sorbonne Université.
Dr. Tsiakaka has published several articles in prestigious journals, including Sensors and IEEE Sensors Journal, and has also been invited to give talks on his research. His work has been featured in various news outlets, including City News, Global News, and Canadian Healthcare Technology. In addition to his research, Dr. Tsiakaka is a highly experienced and skilled educator with nearly 600 hours of teaching experience and supervision of 9 trainees in his field of knowledge. He has been widely recognized for his contributions with awards such as the National Doctoral Scholarship and Innovation Fellowship Ph.D. Transition silver award. He is fluent in English and French, and has a working knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese.
